Starting at the heel of the sneaker where you fastened off, with the front of the shoe facing you, count 13 stitches around the right side towards the front. The 13 th stitch is where you will attach your yarn for the front of the sneaker. Always place the first stitch of the row in the same stitch as your chain Make sure to attach the color that you chose for the main shoe body in my case, I used navy. Attach yarn to the back loop only of the 13 th st from the heel on the right side.
Slst in the back loop only of the same st the 13 th st and in the back loops of the next 15 sts around the front of the sneaker. Ch 1, turn, sc in the front loop only the loop closest to the inside of the shoe of each slst across.
Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog. Ch 1, turn, sc in first 2 sts, sc2tog, sc in next st, sc2tog, sc in last 2 sts.
Ch 1, turn, sc in first st, sc2tog, sc in next st, sc2tog, sc in last st. Ch 1, turn, sc across, at the end of the last row, fasten off and weave in loose ends.
With the front of the sneaker facing you, attach the yarn on the left side in the same stitch of the sole as the last stitch of the toe. Always place the first stitch in the same stitch as your chain Make sure to attach the color that you chose for the main shoe body. Attach your yarn to the same stitch of the sole as the last stitch of the toe, ch 1, slst in the same st and in the next 25 sts the last st should be in the same st as the other side of the toe.
Ch 1, turn, sc in both loops of the white stitches the stitches from the last row of the sole around. Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in the next 6 sts, sc2tog, sc in the next 6 sts, sc2tog, sc in the next 6 sts, sc2tog. Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc2tog, sc in the next 4 sts, sc2tog, sc in the next 2 sts, sc2tog, sc in the next 4 sts, sc2tog, sc2tog. Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc2tog, sc in the next 3 sts, sc2tog, sc in the next 3 sts, sc2tog, sc2tog, fasten off, weave in loose ends.
The laces are actually made from one long chain. If you want extra length on each side in order to be able to tie the laces, chain If you only want it long enough to tuck into the shoe, chain Make sure to leave a tail after fastening off for sewing into the shoe. Ch 10, sc in 2 nd ch from hook and in the next 5 chs, hdc in next ch, 2 hdc in next ch, 5 hdc in last ch, fasten off, leaving long tail for sewing onto bootie.
Use a tapestry needle to bring one end of your chain inside the sneaker. It should go through the edge of one side of the sneaker at about the third row up. Both ends should now be inside the sneaker on opposite sides. See the picture below. Use a tapestry needle to take one end of the chain up through the fourth row on the same side of the sneaker. Then bring that same end across the front of the sneaker and into the other side at about the fourth row up on that side.
Now, both ends of the chain should be inside the sneaker on the same side and you should have two lines of laces going across the outside of the sneaker. Drop the end you were using in Step 2 and thread your tapestry needle with the other end. Draw that end up through the fifth row on the same side of the sneaker. Bring that end across the front of the sneaker it should be the top lace and into the other side at the fifth row on that side.
You may need to adjust the laces so you have an even length of tail left on each side. If you are leaving the ends of the laces tucked into the shoe, you may want to make a larger knot at each end to keep them from slipping out of the shoe.
You can sew the sides of the toe to each side of the sneaker if you choose to do so. This will help to keep any baby toes from wiggling out in between the side of the sneaker and the toe piece. Please do not sell my patterns or claim them as your own. Feel free to post comments here or on my Facebook page! Thank you for visiting! In the last chain, there should be 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc. I loved looking at these patterns, some of them I already have. This was like wonderful therapy for me, after a long, hot day of sorting 30 years worth… and packing.
Once again, thanks a mil. I am trying to get crochet patterns for my aunt. I am having trouble finding the patterns on this site. Can you please help me. Just go throught the link of each page you will find the original pattern of the designer page. I really love the patterns on your site and how easy they are to follow. Please share them to your site Jeremy. I am so excited to be feature on your blog.

Wearing an elegant UGG boot with tight jeans can give you a classy and beautiful look. These are lovely, mind if i try some for our prem unit in Hull? Theyre always needing prem baby hats, bootees jackets etc.
